Wintr Nguyen
Is a 27-year-old creative based in Kansas City, Missouri.
Originally from California, Wintr Nguyen was raised in a creative environment and spent several years working in the film industry, an experience that deeply shaped his perspective and passion for storytelling.
His love for photography began at a young age. With a Polaroid camera in hand, Wintr spent his childhood documenting everyday life and the small, meaningful moments happening around him. That instinct to preserve memories and tell stories has remained at the heart of his work ever since.
At 16, Wintr was kicked out of his home because of his sexual orientation. While an incredibly difficult chapter of his life, the experience shaped his understanding of empathy, resilience, and the importance of creating space for people whose stories are often overlooked.
At 18, just weeks after receiving his driver's license, Wintr moved to Kansas City knowing no one and began building a life entirely from the ground up. What started as a leap into the unknown became the foundation for the person and artist he is today.
Although he considers himself still early in his journey, Wintr hopes to leave a lasting impact through his work and photography capturing moments, preserving stories, and offering perspectives that might otherwise go unseen.
At the heart of everything he creates is one simple goal: to make the world a better place through empathy and perspective.
